University of Massachusetts Boston - University Hall
Boston, MA

Pare Corporation provided the design and construction-phase services for the $130 million, 190,000-SF University Hall.  This new academic building includes general-use classrooms, lecture halls, a 500-seat auditorium, a 150-seat recital hall, a black-box theater, special studios and laboratory spaces, a café, student lounges, and faculty/staff offices.
Pare provided site/civil design, geotechnical consultation, environmental permitting, and LEED documentation services.  Pare also performed a traffic circulation analysis to evaluate pedestrian safety and provided construction support services.
University Hall was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, but is currently tracking LEED Gold through innovative sustainable features in the building and site design.
