Hope Dining Hall - University of Rhode Island
Kingston, RI

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, Pare provided civil engineering services for the design and construction of a new two-level, 43,000-SF dining hall on the Kingston Campus of the University of Rhode Island.  The $22 million Hope Commons includes a dining hall, café, and convenience store. The project included demolition of the previous Hope Dining Hall at the same location.

Pare also provided design services for site and landscape improvements to an area of approximately eight acres surrounding Hope Commons and nearby student housing buildings.

In addition, Pare performed civil-related services to prepare documentation for submission to and certification by the U.S. Green Building Council under their Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.  The building received LEED Silver Certification.
