Pare Corporation is pleased to announce the promotion of Brandon M. Blanchard, P.E., ENV SP to Vice President in our Environmental Division. Blanchard started his professional career at Pare in 2003. Since then, Brandon has been involved in almost everything our Environmental Division does, including hazardous waste, solid waste, stormwater, potable water, and wastewater engineering. While Brandon has continued to demonstrate an aptitude for a broad range of engineering disciplines, he has gravitated toward Pare’s wastewater engineering projects. For the last 8 years, Brandon has been instrumental in one of Pare’s largest projects, and one of the largest infrastructure projects in RI history— the NBC Phase III Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Tunnel program. Brandon has served as the program’s Deputy Program Manager and Pare’s project manager over that time.
Blanchard holds a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University of Bethlehem, PA. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. He is also an Envision Sustainability Professional through the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. He is currently a member of Pare’s DEI subcommittee, focused on creating initiatives to make Pare’s workplace even more inclusive. He is a member of the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) and actively serves on their Small Communities Committee.
John Shevlin, Chief Executive Officer, said of Blanchard’s promotion, “Brandon has been a strong leader and force in Pare’s Environmental Division. His work on the NBC Phase III CSO program has been exceptional and through his efforts and many others, this project will result in vast environmental achievements to improve the condition of Narragansett Bay and will help to improve the stormwater management to waterways in several Rhode Island communities for years to come. He also works above and beyond to make sure Pare’s wastewater and stormwater projects are effective in helping communities throughout the region, and he shares his expertise with other professionals by speaking at conferences whenever possible. I am confident that Brandon will continue to make achievements in the environmental field and at Pare. We are proud to promote Brandon to Vice President and look forward to his continuing contributions to Pare’s success.”
