An important part of the engineering process is construction-phase services, wherein the engineer assists the owner throughout the construction process to monitor compliance with the project plans and specifications. Pare provides construction observation and administration services for all types of engineering projects undertaken by the firm, including civil, structural, marine, recreation, transportation, and environmental improvement projects.
Pare maintains an experienced staff of engineers and full-time resident observers to observe and inspect all phases of major construction activities and to assist in the bidding process. Services associated with the bidding process include bid advertising, contractor pre-qualification, opening of bids, review and tabulation of bids, and reporting to the owner.
We have also served as the Owner’s Representative on construction sites to ensure the work is in conformance to plans prepared by others, as well as to provide on-site engineering support for issues that arise during construction.
