Pare was selected by the Quonset Development Corporation to design improvements to Roger Williams Way from Conway Avenue to Zarbo Avenue within the Quonset Business Park. The goal of the project was to improve the roadways to accommodate the expansion of the existing Electric Boat Facility. The project involved major roadway upgrades to accommodate the anticipated extreme heavy loads of large, manufactured submarine sections requiring transport.

The infrastructure improvements included the upgrade of 4,400 feet of Roger Williams Way and adjacent intersecting roadways, drainage system improvements, and the replacement of all utilities. All permitting and construction scheduling/sequencing were included.

Additionally, Pare was retained for construction-phase services and complete oversight for this project which was constructed in four construction contract phases over a 2-year period.
