Pare Corporation was involved in the design and construction of a 10,000-SF Student Center for the Jackson-Walnut Park Schools. The new student center includes a gymnasium/multi-purpose room, culinary classroom, and a stage.

Pare provided structural and civil engineering services, including structural framing and foundation design. Site/civil design included new utility connections, stormwater management and drainage design, sewer and pump station design, new walkways and parking layout. Additional services included a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment and a fire flow evaluation.

Significant structural design aspects of the project included the design of a stepped gymnasium roof with architectural timber glulam beams and a glassed entrance lobby.

Pare was also contracted through the construction process, providing services such as submittal review, field inspections, and on-call consultation for issues arising during construction.
